- UC Santa Barbara: November 19, 2019— University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) and College Advising Corps (CAC) have joined together to open the doors of higher education for more low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented high school students.
- UCSB‐Smithsonian Scholars, research scientists from the Smithsonian Institution, and staff from the Office of Education Partnerships engaged in fieldwork, research and classroom activities at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, in the Panamanian canal zone town of Gamboa.
- Oxnard High School team developed the "Re‐LAQS" device that wins 1st Place at the California MESA State Championship, and will move on to the National Championship at the University of Arizona where they will compete with other top MESA teams from across the country.
- Isbell Middle School 7th grade team developed the “SmartCan” wins this year's MESA USA Middle and High School National Engineering Design Competition California State Championship.
- The University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) Program’s Regional MESA Day competition took place on the UCSB campus on April 21, 2018 where 7th Graders Samantha Ivanez and Brandon Arana from Isbell Middle School took first place and will be competing against the top teams from all the MESA Centers in California at the State Championship.
- UCSB’s Executive Vice Chancellor, Dr. David Marshall, presents to the UC Regents as part of the agenda item "The University’s Transcript Evaluation Service" (TES) given to the Academic and Student Affairs Committee of the UC Regents on Wednesday March 14, 2018.
- A select group of University of California Santa Barbara students confirmed they have what it takes to be leaders in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers during a special invitation-only conference.

- FOG Program Award Seeds a New UCSB Outreach Program
