1st Annual UCSB Fall Undergraduate Research Showcase
Friday, November 17th, 2023
10 am - 3 pm
@UCSB’s University Center (UCEN)

Join us in celebrating undergraduate student research projects from the Central Coast K16 Collaborative. This exciting showcase invites students from UCSB and community colleges to present their research posters or deliver lightning talks.

Beyond being a research showcase, the event will feature orientation activities where students can interact with other CC and UCSB faculty, staff, and students. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions of UCSB Admissions and Transfer Representatives, engage in discussions with a panel of transfer students and graduate students, and take interactive tours of campus research labs. Adding to the experience, a UCSB Undergraduate Leadership Workshop will be led by staff from programs, and affinity groups, and by students from UCSB student organizations. The UCSB Fall Undergraduate Research Showcase is meant to highlight the achievements of undergraduates who are first in their families to obtain a bachelor’s degree, low-income, or underrepresented in higher education.

We recommend all participants, including staff, register.
