Enrollment and Application Process

To apply for the program, please complete the following items before the deadline to determine eligibility and fit.

1. Complete the 2024 Student Enrollment Form and email a current unofficial transcript by email to our program coordinator
   1. Statement of Purpose (1,000 word limit and must include an introduction, body, and conclusion).
   2. Provide a reference from any academic institution (college/university) you have attended that can highlight your academic achievements and character. We will ask them to complete a short reference via email.
   3. Optional: upload resume
2. Email a current unofficial transcript by email to the UCSB-Smithsonian Scholars program coordinator.
3. Once the application deadline is closed, the program coordinator will schedule an appointment for an online professional interview.
